COMMUNITY with us
We’re here for you!
If you’re in need of any assistance please get in touch and we’ll do all we can to help.
Our Vision
We meet at 10.30am at the Caterham Community Church on the corner of Coulsdon Road & Westway
We want to make you feel at home in a relaxed and friendly environment. We believe we have something for everyone to enjoy, no matter what age you are. You’ll soon find that our meetings are relaxed and friendly. We don’t worry about what you’re wearing or where you sit – we’re more concerned about meeting your real needs.
Enjoy our contemporary worship and listen to challenging, bible based teaching which is relevant to the 21st century. This aims to help us deal with real life issues, while encouraging us to think things through on a personal level. Come as and when you can – there is no pressure; we hope you will find us a place where you can just be yourself.

Leadership & Vision
Caterham Community Church is led by a team of elders and deacons. The elders are Heather McDowell, John Bowdery, Daniel Watson & Emily Watson. They cover the key areas defined as worship, relationships, caring, teaching and action. They seek to use their gifts and experience to help achieve our vision as a fellowship.
We aim:
To be a community who pursue a vibrant and loving relationship with Father God, through worship, prayer and study of the Bible; serving God in the power of the Holy Spirit.
To help people of all ages and backgrounds to find freedom, healing, hope and abundant life through loving, encouraging and equipping each one to become a committed disciple of Jesus Christ.
To welcome people from all nations, including children and young people so that together we can build a caring family who will be partners in the Gospel, extending God’s Kingdom locally, nationally and internationally.
To build partnerships through relationship with other churches and Christian organisations, in order to be more effective in both mission and ministry.
To work with groups and individuals with similar values to benefit people locally and elsewhere.
What we believe
We believe there is one God, who lives forever in three persons, the father, Son and Holy Spirit; We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God to us today and our guide for life; 2 Timothy 3:16
We believe that Jesus is God’s one and only Son, that he was born of the virgin Mary and died on the cross for us. In doing so he died in our place and suffered our punishment so that we might be forgiven. John 3:16 That he rose from the dead, ascended to be with his Father and that he will return to the earth.
We believe that all mankind are lost in sin and need to turn from it and trust personally in Jesus Christ; and that all of us need to be born into God’s family by the power of the Holy Spirit. This is the gift of eternal life and one that cannot be bought, earned or deserved in any way. It is a gift of God’s grace to all who come to faith in Jesus. Ephesians 2:8,9.
